Discover the dynamic graph-writing method that's transforming how we organise, connect, and evolve our thoughts and projects.
If you are a productivity enthusiast like me, you might have heard about Obsidian.
I've been using it now for over a year for taking notes, organising my knowledge.
I might have actually been telling you to go check out my blog, when mentioning Obsidian in one of our conversations!
Here is why I love it and how it helps me stay organised and efficient:
Graph-writing and navigation
Graph-writing, unlike traditional linear note-taking, allows the creation of links between notes. This creates a web of interconnected ideas that can easily be navigated. Instead of going through folders, it feels much more intuitive.
Graph-writing helps me connect and visualise ideas.

Relationships
Through the graph, I can see the relationship between notes much clearer. This is especially helpful for brainstorming or idea generation. It allows me to see how ideas fit together and how to develop them further.
Flexibility
The app uses plain text files and I'm in full control over my content. I don't even need the tool to read or edit a note! This also means you can use git for version control!
Community
Obsidian has a wide community and plugins that can be used to further customise your system. For work I have templates for meetings, events, customers etc.
To sum it up, if you're looking for a powerful and flexible tool for taking and organizing notes, and especially if you are a visual thinker, Obsidian might be worth checking out.
